About the restored guide
Good Careers Guide has been rebuilt around the parts of the historical site people still cited: career exploration, subject pathways, practical advice and the aptitude-test URL.
What this site is for
Career decisions rarely arrive as one perfect answer. This guide helps readers organise possibilities, understand typical work and identify the questions that deserve deeper research.
What was recoverable
Wayback preserved the homepage across multiple eras, the complete scoring model for the aptitude activity, 31 career-ladder topics, original PDF resources, 20 advice subjects and two ebook editions. Occupation search results on the historical homepage linked to an external careers database, so newly created internal occupation URLs are clearly treated as a modern information architecture rather than claimed historical URLs.
Accuracy and responsibility
Career information changes. Licensing, registration, qualification structures and employer expectations should be checked with the appropriate Australian regulator, training provider or official labour-market source before making a commitment.
